AI is planning to increase its already existing thrice a week service from Trichy – Chennai – Dubai to seven days a week from Mid February. This is in response to the overwhelming response to this service.
AI is also planning to make Trichy a hub for its Trichy – Chennai – Dubai and Trichy- Chennai – Kualalumpur Service ( Coming soon). The Trichy Malaysia service will be thrice a week to start with, but looking at the overwhelming response to Air Asia service from Trichy, this will also become a seven day service very soon.

AI will always be slow to catch up. Any way, competition is good so that Air Asia would be mindful in setting up appropriate price strategy for this route. Without competiton, Air Asia’s fare to Trichy can sometimes be more than what you would pay to travel in a full service carrier such as MAS, Jet Airways etc.,

The flydubai network will expand rapidly. You’ll soon be able to flydubai to other cities in the Middle East, GCC and India. And eventually, the network will extend to Iran, Eastern Europe and North & East Africa.
